2-Day Express Counterbalanced Forklift Trainer Certification

Presented by IVES Training Group, this “Train the Trainer” program is specific to the counterbalanced forklift (ITA* Classes 1,4 and 5) and will teach the trainee how to effectively train operators of this equipment and deliver an effective, fully compliant counterbalanced forklift operator certification program. Each trainee’s knowledge and demonstrated skills in all aspects of the program are evaluated and graded. This program, its content and structure, meet or exceed all existing OSHA, ANSI/ASME and ISO 9000 regulations and standards. Operator credentials are not issued during this program.

Who should attend:

Individuals who want to become counterbalance forklift instructors. Formal operator certification is not necessary to enroll in this class. However, basic working knowledge of the equipment is beneficial. Operator credentials are not issued at this program. It is recommended that candidates have a good command of the English language because of the fast pace of this program.

Prerequisites:

Trainees enrolled in the 2-Day Express Program, should have a moderate knowledge of the equipment addressed. The Operator Reference Manual must be read and the quizzes completed prior to class participation (manual sent out a minimum of one week in advance of program start date). As a portion of the program will be outdoors, trainees should wear appropriate clothing and steel-toed shoes, if possible.
