Jerry Bach Jerry Bach, Safety Center Vice President of Workplace Safety since 1989, helps Safety Center update and develop new programs by being involved with Cal-OSHA and other professional organizations where providing a safe and healthy work environment is a priority. He has over 20 years experience providing training in both the private and public sectors in defensive driving, general safety training and mobile equipment training.
Raul Anguiano Raul teaches in Spanish and uses real world experience to make the material relevant to his audience, which improves understanding and retention of class content. With 20 years of experience in safety director and risk management positions in the construction, petrochemical, and solid waste industries. Jeff Beeler Jeff Beeler uses real life situations from his career as a first responder to reinforce procedures for Confined Space Entry and Rescue. His 32 years in emergency response have included supervising fire-ground incidents, EMS, rescue, hazardous material and coordinating confined space and rescue programs. Myron Brown Myron Brown delivers complex safety concepts in an easily understandable way for students throughout his over 15 years in the health and safety field. He fully engages students to ensure they have a true understanding of the training topics. Joe Deas Joe Deas, Safety Center Staff Instructor, provides a fresh and engaging delivery of workplace safety training topics through his unique humor and creative style. He has worked on both sides of the safety aisle; as an employee and as an instructor and has a unique understanding of the student’s perspective and knows how to thoroughly engage participant in trainings. Vicki Deas Vicki Deas, Safety Center Staff Instructor, thoroughly enjoys sharing information and knowledge with her students. She strives to deliver the most accurate, interactive safety and health training possible. Vicki utilizes her nearly 20 years experience in the agriculture, insurance and safety fields to lend real life experiences to her classes. Michael Estep, PhD Mike Estep, of RescueTech, provides highly technical training courses with passion and a skill that allows even novice students to fully comprehend the subject matter. He utilizes his experience as a California State Fire Marshal Instructor to give student’s practical understanding of confined space training and hazardous materials. Robert Fernandez Robert is an experienced instructor in environmental health and safety programs for the workplace. He has been in the field for 30 years and also teaches at the OSHA Training Institute. Kent Freeman Kent Freeman, applies his over 30 years experience as a firefighter to bring real life experiences to his training courses. He helped develop rescue teams and six permanent confined space rescue training centers as a Senior Confined Space Rescue technician instructor. Joe Gurican, OHST, CFI, CECM Joe Gurican incorporates “real world” examples from his long career in safety and risk management and includes hands-on training to develop skills to improve worker safety. He has over 40 years experience in occupational health and safety, fire protection, construction safety, emergency response, including workers’ compensation, property, and liability insurance. Regina Hollins, ARM, CPSI
Regina Hollins has 25 years of Occupational Safety & Health experience with school districts, municipalities, government, and the private sectors. Jim Hughes, CSHM Jim Hughes, Vice President/Senior Managing Consultant – Risk Control for Wells Fargo Insurance Services, has instructed Safety Center courses for 22 years. His daily experience consulting major construction firms on accident investigation, loss control and risk management make his classes current, engaging and successful. Jim has a BS in Business Administration and is certified to teach the 10 and 30 hour OSHA outreach course. Jeff Savona Jeff has a background in conducting loss control surveys to help clients meet regulatory requirements and manage effective safety programs. He has been involved in providing safety solutions for 20 years for construction and manufacturing companies in the petrochemical, pulp & paper, pharmaceutical industries.
Steve Young, CIHM Steve Young was Battalion Chief and Safety Officer of the City of Redlands for 28 years and has extensive experience in all aspect of managing safety programs. He is certified to teach several hazardous materials programs and has a BA in Organizational Management.
