Cal/OSHA-8: Real World Safety & Health
Safety Center Incorporated is proud to be in partnership with Cal/OSHA Consultation in the creation of our Cal/OSHA-8 program. The program was developed to address high accident rates in the construction industry. Since its inception, the Cal/OSHA-8 program has trained over 1,200 workers, supervisors and foremen.
Professional Safety Institute
	Safety Specialist Certificate Program
The Institute provides the safety professional or human resources person who has inherited the title of Safety Coordinator an opportunity to attend certificated courses that will assist them in their career. The Institute’s Safety Specialist Certificate courses inherently describe the level of professional training attained. Each certificate involves three, one-day classes that we provide two to three times a year on a rotating basis.

Train the Trainer Courses
Safety Center provides a number of courses that will prepare companies’ inside instructors to deliver health and safety training to their organization’s employees. Our Train the Trainer courses are designed to equip instructor candidates with the knowledge, training and experience required to train their equipment operators in order to create a safe and efficient workplace. These classes include:

	Defensive Driving-4 Instructor
Mobile Equipment Training
Safety Center Incorporated is a proud to partner with the Ives Training Group to offering comprehensive mobile equipment Train-the-Trainer programs.
Employee Safety Training
Safety Center utilizes the latest developments in safety and health to ensure that employees are well trained to perform their jobs safely. We provide both classroom and hands-on instruction. These courses are offered through open enrollment classes at the Safety Center campus. These classes include: Defensive Driving-4, Competent Person Fall Protection, Competent Person Excavation, Confined Space Entry/Rescue and more.
Work Zone Safety
Safety Center Incorporated’s Traffic Control/Flagging program incorporates the new California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (FHWA’s MUTCD 2003 Edition, as amended for use in California).
On-Site Training
We can deliver any of our safety training classes to your place of business, or at a facility of your choice. Program content and learning activities can be customized to include policies, procedures, and forms specific to your company or facility. We instruct on all types of mobile equipment, as well as general safety, occupational safety and defensive driving for autos, trucks and vans.
Consulting Services
We now offer consulting services for your business. Safety Center is collaborating with some of the best safety training professional in the field to offer you specialized consulting to fit your needs. If your business has encountered safety, health or other training issues that you have been unable to resolve, call us and we will match you with the best consultant to address your particular need.
Safety Center Incorporated strives to be the “training center” for California workplaces by providing safety training to approximately 10,000 people annually through our open enrollment and on-site courses. We work hard to develop and deliver quality occupational health and safety training and information services.
