Jerry
Bach is Vice President of Occupational
Safety & Health Services for Safety
Center Incorporated in Sacramento,
California and has served in this capacity
since June, 1989.
He is responsible for all
occupational safety and health training programs (both open enrollment and on-site)
conducted by Safety Center Incorporated. He assists companies in developing
on-going safety programs in such areas as Mobile Equipment, Defensive Driving and Traffic
Control. He also assists companies in identifying workplace hazards and equipment hazards,
providing training and evaluating on forklifts, aerial lift equipment and traffic
control training.
 Bruce
Anderson
Bruce Anderson is a former law enforcement officer,
field trainer, and undercover narcotics officer with the California Bureau of Narcotic
Enforcement. He utilizes his martial arts and law enforcement expertise in the development of
personal security and self-defense training programs. He provides workplace, personal, and field staff
safety and security training classes to senior executives, management, and employees of a vast
array of private businesses and corporations, state/county/city governments and professional
organizations and associations. He has also trained teachers, parents and children in school
districts nationwide in personal protection and safe school development.
In April 2006, Bruce joined Safety Center
Incorporated. He teaches programs for the Occupational Health and Safety Training
Department in the fields of Disaster and Personal Safety, and others. His construction background
enables him to train students in mobile equipment, excavation, fall protection, Cal/OSHA-8, First Aid/CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Defensive Driving,
Cal/OSHA 10/30, and Traffic Control/Flagger Safety. Bruce also teaches personal safety, security and
emergency planning courses at the Safety Center and at on-site courses.
Bob
Lapidus, CSP
Bob Lapidus has been in the safety &management career field since 1968, working
in both the private and public sectors. He is a Board Certified Safety
Professional (CSP) and has a Master of Science degree in Safety Management.
As a frequent speaker and educator, Bob is
well-known for his practical approach to preventing losses. He believes that most losses are
preventable and that much can be done to reduce injuries to people and damage to
property, especially within a well-managed organization that strives for excellence and
professionalism.
Katherine
AbbottKatherine, a communications specialist, has
won industry awards for training and public speaking during a 30-year career in
business and education. Katherine founded Abbott
Communications, a training and consulting company specializing
in training trainers and speakers in 1990. Katherine's
core courses are The Trainer's Advantage™, The
Tech Trainer's Advantage™ and The Presenter’s
Advantage.
Safety professionals need to communicate the importance of
safety, sometimes without the appropriate training and presentation skills. We know
that this lack of effective communication skills can be the difference between
life and death for their employees.Katherine Abbott will help you learn (review) these skills
in the Conducting Training Programs and Presentations course which is offered twice a
year at the Safety Center. Katherine has been teaching for the Safety Center since 2004.

Myron
Brown
Myron has worked in the health and safety field for over 15 years.
He has broad safety and regulatory compliance knowledge and is an excellent
communicator. His teaching methods are extremely effective and he engages the participants
where they remember the principles of the training.
Myron can develop and maintain successful company safety programs by
providing assessments of workplace hazards, written programs, and facilitating safety
meetings so that they are action oriented. His techniques can create dynamic
response teams so that the meetings take on a preventative mode.
Myron has served in the capacity of working as a consultant and in-house safety
manager in both manufacturing and construction . |
