Individual Safety Training

Safety Center utilizes the latest developments in safety and health to help ensure that your employees are well trained to perform their jobs safely. Students are provided with the necessary instruction to make safe behavior a habit. Safety Center provides both classroom and hands-on instruction. Our instructors also provide employees with the opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with the concepts taught.

These courses are offered through open enrollment classes at the Safety Center or can be taught at your location as an On-site training class.

Overview:

These courses aid student in implementing dynamic Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP) by addressing the eight core elements:

  • Accident Prevention

  • Hazard Assessment (Find) and Correction (Fix)

  • Training/Tailgate Meetings

All participants will receive quick reference materials that can be kept at the worksite and a Cal/OSHA/Safety Center certificate. This course can also help contractors qualify for Cal/OSHA recognition and exemption programs.

Any person whose job requires working at or near an excavation site

Overview:

This one-day course covers Cal-OSHA statistics, excavation standards, use of protective systems, soil analysis, timber and aluminum hydraulic shoring and tabulated data engineering. Students are to bring all company required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)-hardhat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, etc.-to class.

Overview:

Who Should Attend:

Anyone who wants to prepare with OSHA compliant first aid training

Overview:

Safety Center Incorporated instructs using the program approved by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). This course trains students to master necessary skills for the administration of CPR and First Aid to adults.

Attendees will learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in the case of an airway obstruction or choking. Students will also learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like shock, burns, strains, strokes and seizures is shared.
