Cal/OSHA-8: Challenges
of Real World Safety & Health
|
Safety
Center Incorporated is proud to be in partnership with Cal/OSHA
Consultation in the creation of our Cal/OSHA-8 program. The program
was developed to address high accident rates in the construction
industry. Since its
inception, the Cal/OSHA-8 program has trained
over 1,000 workers, supervisors and foremen. We have 5 master
trainers and over 50 trainers throughout California and the United
States.
Safety
Center Incorporated has several new trade specific programs under
development. Residential Framing is our first trade specific
program. Look for roofing, plumbing and more in 2009! |

"The
Cal/OSHA-8 Residential Framing course is a concise, relevant, and
comprehensive training program tailored to the residential framing
field supervisor. This is the only course I have thought to be worth
my time to become certified in. My hope is that other trades take
our lead, and develop their own trade specific Cal/OSHA-8 training
program."
