How Does Your Car Fit?

What:

 Free car check up for people 50 & older

Trained volunteers will guide drivers through a 12-point checklist get a "better fit" in your vehicle. Among the items checked will be:
  • Is the driver positioned correctly in the drivers seat?
  • Can the person reach the pedals easily?
  • Does the person know how to adjust mirrors properly or have the flexibility to use the mirrors?

An occupational therapist also provides recommendations to participants on devices or adjustments that can maintain and strength driving health for mature drivers.

Who:

 Licensed drivers age 50 and older who own a registered vehicle.

When:

 Thursday October 25, 2007 from 9 am to Noon

Where:
