What is Rapid Eye Check?

All illegal drugs affect the central nervous system creating side effects. Certain combinations of these visible, physical signs warrant reasonable suspicion of body fluid testing. Two of the five steps of the Rapid Eye Check can be observed, the other three steps can easily be performed in seconds by trained personnel. If the subject fails two or more of the five steps, 99% of the time they are on illegal drugs, prescribed drugs, or have a medical problem.

If the subject passes the Rapid Eye Check 98.6% will also pass a body fluid EMIT test. Only those persons who fail the Rapid Eye check will need a body fluid test, saving you considerable expense, about 80% of your drug testing budget.

1. It is extremely effective to detect and deter drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace. Substantially all of the persons who pass the Rapid Eye Check criteria would also pass the standard EMIT body fluid test.
