Richard DaRosa is currently the Area Manager for the
Northern California counties for the Cal/OSHA Consultation Service
Program. He is responsible for the management of the professional staff
who provide direct onsite safety and health assistance to employers upon
their request.
Previously, Mr. DaRosa was the Senior Industrial Hygienist
for the Consultation Service in Northern California. He was responsible
for technical assistance to the professional staff and quality assurance
within the Consultation Service Program. Other Cal/OSHA management
experience included the administration of the Asbestos Consultant
Certification Unit and a former Area Manager for the Consultation Service.
Mr. DaRosa has held other industrial hygiene and
environmental positions with the United States Air Force, Oregon/OSHA,
Kern County Department of Public Health and Armstrong Rubber and Tire
Company.
Mr. DaRosa
is a Certified Industrial Hygienist in Comprehensive Practice by the
American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Also, he is a Certified Asbestos
Consultant for the Division and a Registered Environmental Health
Specialist by the State of California. Mr. DaRosa graduated with Masters
